Radial & Deep Groove Ball Bearings
Deep groove, or single row radial, ball bearings are the most widely used bearings. They utilize an uninterrupted raceway that makes them optimal for radial loads .This design permits precision tolerance, even at high-speed operation.NTN ball bearings use standard cages of pressed steel, as well as machined, brass cages for high-speed applications. NTN also offers bearings with locating snap rings.
Prelubricated bearings have integral seals, or shields, which are packed with long-life grease. In many applications, these bearings can be used without supplementary seals, closures, or protective devices. This design also offers the lowest possible manufacturing costs to the end user.Shielded ball bearings are protected on one or both sides by metal shields that are fastened to the outer ring. This close clearance labyrinth seal retains the lubricant and prevents the entrance of foreign matter.
